Weak roots will not survive the winter, so in summer the plant needs good care so that it becomes very strong by the cold. The upper part will still have to be cut off, since it will die in the cold, and it is no longer possible to remove the intertwined shoots from the supports at the end of summer. Cover the remnants of the trunks sticking out of the ground with a thick layer of dry leaves, put a film on top to protect it from moisture.
