The Komandor insecticide is widespread among the drugs of universal action. This is a chemical product that destroys the main pests of vegetable and horticultural crops: the Colorado potato beetle, aphids, thrips, bedbugs and many others. The drug is harmless to humans and warm-blooded animals, however, it is toxic to bees. Its application requires compliance with simple safety rules.

However, it protects potatoes especially well. The treatment scheme is as follows: traditional spraying of the green part plus treatment of potato tubers a few days before planting. Instructions for use: when and how to process
The instructions for use are quite simple - the product is dissolved in water in accordance with the dosages indicated below and the solution is sprayed onto the green part of the plant.
The sequence of actions is as follows:
- Determine the dosage according to the table.
- Wear gloves and other personal protective equipment.
- Dissolve the required amount of the drug first in a small amount of cold water.
- Then dilute to 10 L (standard bucket).
- Sprinkle the green part of the plant abundantly so that the leaves are moistened on both sides.
The concentration depends on both the type of plant and the type of pest:

Security measures
Despite the fact that the drug belongs to the 3rd class of hazard for humans, it must be used in accordance with the safety requirements:
- Work should be carried out in a mask, gloves, glasses and special clothing, which after the procedure is carefully washed or thrown away.
- During spraying, do not allow contact with open areas of the body.
- During the procedure, do not eat, talk or be distracted.
- If the preparation comes into contact with the skin, wash immediately with plenty of water, then with soap.
- In case of contact with eyes, rinse under running water.
- If swallowed, take 3-4 tablets of activated carbon, drink plenty of water.
- In case of the appearance of extraneous symptoms (burning sensation on the skin, pain in the eyes, signs of poisoning), seek immediate medical attention.
The storage of the finished solution is excluded, so you need to immediately procure such an amount that will be spent in full for 1 treatment. In everyday life the insecticide "Commander" is not used - it will not help to get rid of cockroaches, ants, etc. Suitable only for agricultural use.
What could go wrong
The use of the drug may not give a significant effect if the treatment is carried out:
- in windy weather;
- during rain (or if precipitation is in 1-2 days);
- during the daytime when the sun is at its maximum height.
The optimal time for processing is early morning or late evening (respectively before 8 am or after 8 pm).
The drug "Commander" allows you to cope with a large number of common pests, but it will not help get rid of adults and larvae of the May beetle, leaf beetles, ticks. At the same time, "Komandor" has established itself as a fairly effective insecticide, so it is popular with many summer residents and gardeners. Often the tool is used on an industrial scale.
